Pierrick Pedron has all the elements in his playing. He is melodic, lyrical, warm and above all swings. This is a compelling recording as the all star members of the quartet are at home wich each other. One of things that impresses me is how intimate it sounds. Pierrick's command of the jazz language is augmented by his ability to make it sound very personal and warm.
